Specific Terms & Conditions for Challengers and Solvers
If you, as a Challenger, continue to browse and use this website, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the Disclaimer, Privacy Policy, General Internet Copyright Notice and these Terms & Conditions of use, which govern jobless4jobless’ relationship with you in relation to this website. Please read this information carefully. The terms ‘jobless4jobless’ or 'J4J' or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refer to the owners of the website. The term 'site' refers to the jobless4jobless website while the term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website. If you do not accept these Terms & Conditions as stated here, do not continue to use this website and its services.
If the case should arise, it is possible that even more detailed or Special Terms & Conditions related to the nature of a Challenge, will be specified in the Challenge Agreement between the Challenger and the J4J Foundation.
The Challenger's section of this site provides a service whereby external companies and organizations (the Challengers) with specific problems or demands, may post their requests as Challenges after being accepted and approved by the J4J Foundation. A Challenger may offer a payment amount or can be billed for specific contributions, submitted by J4J Solvers and listed under the Solutions section, for which the Challenger admits and confirms as acceptable (Accepted Solutions).
Some Challenge Projects will deal only with basic information, while other projects might acquire very detailed or even classified information and specific criteria for accepted solutions and deliverables. Such information and criteria will be located in password-protected areas of the site (Private Organic Groups). Members can only get access to these Private Organic Group and become solvers when invited by the 'manager(s)' of this private group.
By using this site, Challengers acknowledge that J4J does not control in any manner the nature, quality, legality or timing of J4J Challenges and Challengers agree that J4J is a neutral forum for J4J Challengers and for solver proposed solutions. J4J desires to make your use of this site enjoyable, and will endeavor to keep postings related to the results of proposed solutions as current as possible. However, we do not guarantee that the postings or content on this site will be current at all times.
Solvers' responsibilities
When you as a J4J member take a challenge and become the manager of a Private Organic Group or when you are invited to join a group, you become a solver. Being a solver who contributes and helps to find solutions for a challenge, you thereby agree to these Specific Terms & Conditions and eventually additionally Special Terms & Conditions as stipulated in the Challenge Agreement. You also agree that your registration information at all times correctly represents your professional affiliation, skills, passions, experience, qualifications and ability to transact business. You may not use a login name of another member-solver. You may not disclose or share your password to any third parties or use your password for any unauthorized purposes. You agree to notify J4J Foundation at metoo@jl4jl.org of any unauthorized use of your account or breach of security, including loss, theft, or unauthorized disclosure of your password or login information. Remember, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password(s).
Others' Information
The J4J Foundation does not guarantee the accuracy of the site or ownership of any information in a Challenge. While the J4J Foundation believes such information to be posted in good faith, J4J Foundation however does not control the information provided by others nor by the community members that is made available through this website. Other user's information may be inaccurate. You agree to look solely to the Challenger for any claims you may have regarding their information. If you have a dispute with another user of the J4J community, you hereby release the J4J Foundation from all claims of any kind arising out of such dispute.
Your Information
You may have the opportunity to communicate with other users. Any information you provide to the J4J community or to other users, in any public message area, through any mail feature, or otherwise generated out of your use of the J4J website, is subject to the following regarding your contribution and your content. You are solely responsible for the content of your information, postings, or proposed solutions. Then J4J Foundation acts merely as a conduit for the distribution and/or publication of that information. The J4J Foundation reserves the right to take any action with respect to such information that is necessary or appropriate in its sole discretion if the J4J Foundation believes information is inappropriate for the website or the J4J community, may create liability for The J4J Foundation, or may cause the J4J Foundation to lose (in whole or in part) the services of its Internet service provider, advertisers, or other suppliers. You agree that your information will be accurate and will not, to the best of your knowledge:
Additional Conditions Regarding Proposed Solutions
If you take a challenge and become the manager of a group, or if you are invited to a private group, you agree that you are the owner of the submitted proposed solution(s) and that you are legally free to make the disclosure and to convey the intellectual property rights being offered to the Challenger. You also agree that your contribution can be subject to Special Terms & Conditions described in the Challenge Agreement.
Other Contracts, Confidentiality, and Indemnification
You agree that you will not disclose to the J4J community or its members, or to any Challenger, any information which you are under an existing contractual or other legal obligation to maintain in confidence or otherwise do not have the right to sell or license. You agree that you will not discuss any confidential information of your own, of other parties, the Challenger or related to any J4J Foundation Challenge, unless you are specifically working within the confines of a Private Organic Group. All information in Private Organic Groups shall be deemed "confidential information" for purposes of this section of our Specific Terms & Conditions for Challengers and Solvers.
Should your participation in a Private Organic Group be found to breach legal obligations you may have with other third parties or in the event of a breach of the confidentiality obligations described in this section, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless J4J Foundation and Challenger, its and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers, from and against all claims, actions or demands, liabilities, and settlements, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising in connection with such unauthorized and prohibited disclosure.
