Challengers

Challenge us !

Companies and organizations can post challenges to our community invoking our global pool of (idle) skills, capacities and expertise. But previous to posting challenges, a candidate challenger must apply to become registered. To be accepted by the J4J Foundation, the challenger's goals, philosophy, products and services should match with the social, ethical and sustainable values of the J4J community.

Once registered, the Challenge Request will appear on the overview page. Challenge Projects pages will be open only to Members, Challengers, Donators and Sponsors.

The J4J Foundation will reinvest and use revenues from resolved challenges:
- as seed money to enable community members to developed Idea Projects
- or grants and donations to not-for-profit organizations

The Challengers section reflects the lifecycle of a Challenge as described below, step by step.

1. Apply to become a Challenger
2. The J4J Foundation decides, accepts and approves
3. Post your challenge
4. All posted challenges will appear in the Overview of Challenge Requests. Any member can add reviews and rate a challenge page.
5. Members who are interested in resolving the problem apply to "take a challenge".
   1. As a result Site Admins will create a Private Organic Group for that specific challenge.
   2. The solvers themselves are the managers of the Challenge Project Group and will maintain it.
   3. Other members can only get access to these Private Organic Group when they are invited by the 'manager(s)'
   4. In order to follow up his project(s) the challenger will have access to the specific Private Organic Groups.
6. A list of active challenges is available on the Overview of Challenge Projects
7. Once a challenge is resolved, all solutions will be published on the Solutions page.
