Jobless4jobless is a free, independent and global platform for unemployed people, probably one of the biggest groups today. Although focused on the jobless, J4J doesn’t neglect closely related groups and is also open to those who are out of work, but not yet worked out, and to those who are perpetually looking for a more satisfying job, for challenges that better suit their passions and dreams.
J4J stimulates to unleash ideas, dreams and passions. By providing tools to cooperate and to deploy the available pool of idle skills, sustainable ideas will emerge and evolve to real world projects. Solidarity and skills are not limited to J4J members, but are also used for challenges from external sustainable humanitarian projects and organizations. Active members will feel useful and valuable again, and will keep their skills up-to-date.
J4J aims to transform negativism and alienation, related to being jobless, into positive attitude and supportive action. Unlike similar projects, J4J prefers the dynamics, intelligence and power of a self-organized community, above a self-centered approach. J4J doesn’t bet on short-term or short-sighted solutions, but on sustainable solutions that matter, safeguard the future of our society, make the world a better place to live in.
To support this community, J4J will establish a foundation, which is financed by revenues from donors, sponsors, advertisers and challengers. Candidates must apply and will be approved if they suit the community's philosophy and values. The J4J foundation will provide seed money to J4J start-ups, grant to challenge solvers and donate to non-profit projects. Priorities and decisions about funding will all be taken by voting, open and transparent to all who are involved.
